Information We Collect
- Google account data: your Google account identifier (the
subclaim) and email address. - Game profile data: information you create in Flight Addict, such as your nickname, company name, and company tag.
- Game and progression data: information needed to operate your company and game features, including economy and progression state, aircraft, employees, contracts, inventory, rankings, and related gameplay activity.
- Cloud Save data: encrypted game-state and flight-log save files when Cloud Save is used.
- Purchase and license data: if you use the purchase flow, transaction identifiers, license status, refund or chargeback status, and an email address supplied for delivery of a license key.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to authenticate you, identify your Flight Addict account, issue and validate account credentials, create and load your game profile, synchronize server-authoritative progression, provide Cloud Save, operate rankings and other online game features, deliver and maintain licenses, and protect the service from unauthorized use.
Google User Data
Flight Addict requests only the Google OAuth scopes openid and email. We use the Google account identifier and email address returned through this flow for sign-in and account identification.
Flight Addict does not request the Google profile scope and does not use your Google name or profile photo. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, or other Google services. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
Data Storage
Flight Addict's online services run on Cloudflare. Account identifiers, game profile information, authoritative gameplay state, rankings, and related service records are stored in Cloudflare D1. Encrypted Cloud Save files are stored in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket and are accessed through the Flight Addict Worker.
On your device, Flight Addict stores encrypted authentication data. Local save databases are used while the game is running and are encrypted as .fadb files when the game closes through its normal shutdown process.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers only as needed to provide Flight Addict: Google provides authentication, Cloudflare provides website, API, database, and object-storage infrastructure, and Paddle processes purchases when the purchase flow is used.
Leaderboard features may display your Flight Addict nickname, company name and tag, ranking, and game statistics to other users. Your Google account identifier and email address are not displayed in leaderboards.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account and game data for as long as it is needed to provide the Flight Addict account and online services, unless deletion is requested.
The in-game New Game/reset function deletes gameplay state and Cloud Save backups associated with that game state, but it retains the Google account identifier and email used for authentication and account identification. It is not a full account-deletion function.

Third-Party Services
Flight Addict uses Google OAuth for sign-in, Cloudflare Pages, Workers, D1, and R2 for the website and online game infrastructure, and Paddle for the optional purchase flow. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Flight Addict's features or data practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
